High heels shoes come in a wide variety of styles, such as high heel sandals, high heel slippers, high heel pumps, high heel boots and stiletto heels.
High Heel Sandals
High heel sandals are an open type of sexy footwear, consisting of a sole held to the foot by straps passing over the instep and, sometimes, around the ankle. High Heel sandals leave most of the upper part of the foot exposed, particularly the toes.
High Heel Slippers
Like bedroom slippers or house slippers, high heel slippers can be slipped on and off easily. Like high heel sandals, most high heel slippers feature exposed toes, but lack the straps that tie the shoe to the ankle or instep of the foot and therefore they come on and off easily. This is the reason that high heel slippers are preferred by strippers and therefore are also commonly called stripper heels.
High Heel Pumps
The classic high heel pumps are shoes that have a closed front covering the toes and a closed back, thus making the classic pumps the perfect sexy shoes to be worn with stockings or pantyhose. Today it's not uncommon to see the classic pumps enhanced by an ankle strap or t-strap; or to find high heel pumps with open toes or peep toes.
High Heel Boots
High Heel Boots are a stylish addition to any women's wardrobe and come in many different flavors, such as ankle boots, knee-high boots and thigh-high boots.
Ankle boots, as the name suggests extend to just above the foot ankle and are therefore the perfect companion for wearing them with skinny jeans, or skin tight leggings.
Knee-high boots stop just below the knee to show off some leg if combined with a mini-skirt, but can also be combined with pants.
Thigh-high boots are sometimes also called over-the-knee boots. As thigh-high boots are difficult to put on and off, stretch boots were developed, which are made from soft stretch material that fits the contours of any foot and leg perfectly for a skin-tight fit.
